Responsibilities
Kforce's clientm, a growing organization located in the Saint Louis, MO area, is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to support corporate accounting operations and strengthen financial reporting processes.
Summary:
This role will be responsible for general ledger accounting, month‑end close activities, account reconciliations, financial schedules, and process improvements that drive accuracy, accountability, and scalability across the accounting function. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage corporate general ledger accounting and monthly close activities
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset, prepaid, insurance, and other corporate accounting schedules
- Support financial reporting, audits, tax compliance, and treasury‑related accounting needs
- Analyze and resolve reconciliation variances and accounting issues
- Improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong experience with general ledger accounting, month‑end close, accruals, and reconciliations
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience
- Experience supporting audits, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

- Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
