Grant Accountant
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000
Location: Remote in FL, TN, GA, NC, or SC

Key Responsibilities for the Grant Accountant:
- Manage accounting activities for assigned state and federal grants
- Review and approve grant-related expenditures and procurement activities
- Perform budgeting, budget-to-actual analysis, and financial reporting
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end close processes
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and posting issues
Qualifications for the Grant Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred;
Finance degree considered with strong accounting experience - Prior grant accounting experience beyond accounts payable-focused responsibilities
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas
- Experience with full-cycle accounting
