Construction Finance Specialist

The Construction Finance Specialist supports the financial administration of Lincoln's construction and development projects. This role tracks project budgets, processes draw requests, and assists with financial reporting for projects under construction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Track construction project budgets, committed costs, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and process construction draw requests, coordinating required documentation with project managers, lenders, and general contractors.
- Assist with monthly job cost reporting and budget-to-actual variance analysis for assigned projects.
- Reconcile construction-related invoices, retainage, and lien waiver documentation.
- Support the preparation of project financial status reports for internal and client stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Development, Construction Management, and Property Accounting teams to ensure accurate cost tracking.
- Maintain organized project finance files and documentation to support audits and lender reviews.
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis related to construction and development activity.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- 2-4 years of experience in construction finance, real estate finance, or project accounting.
- Working knowledge of construction draw processes and job cost accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with construction draw or project accounting systems a plus.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal and external project stakeholders.

This position is 100% in-office. The role requires working in office during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not an option for this position.
Pay Range
$60,000 - $70,000 USD
