We are a growing public accounting firm seeking an experienced, detail-oriented bookkeeper to work in our CAS practice, preparing financial statements for our business clients and integrating with our tax team. The successful candidate will have strong bookkeeping skills, a solid understanding of fundamental accounting concepts, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts accurately and efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as this position involves regular communication with clients and other members of our firm.

* Key Responsibilities
**

• Prepare accurate monthly tax-basis financial statements for multiple clients in Quickbooks Online and Desktop versions
• Review, classify, and post client transactions to the appropriate general ledger accounts
• Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare and post payroll journal entries
• Review balance sheets and profit and loss statements for accuracy and reasonableness
• Identify discrepancies, unusual transactions, and missing information
• Communicate with clients to obtain records and resolve bookkeeping questions
• Maintain organized electronic client files and supporting documentation
• Meet monthly reporting deadlines while managing multiple client accounts
• Multitask efficiently, managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate composure and professionalism in high-pressure or fast-paced environments, effectively handling stressful situations
