Finance and Accounting Intern, Remote/Hybrid

Overview:
Join Abacus as an Accounting & Finance Intern and gain hands‑on experience working with experienced CPAs and controllers. You’ll support various client deliverables while learning about real-world accounting systems and processes.

Eligibility Requirement:
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (green card) is required for this role due to client compliance and data security requirements.

• Assist in transaction coding, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Perform data cleanup and prepare documentation for client meetings
• Research industry benchmarks and help update dashboards

• Enrolled in or recent graduate from an accounting, finance, or business program
• Basic understanding of GAAP and financial reporting concepts
• Familiarity with Excel and/or tools like Quick Books, Net Suite, or Power BI
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
