Finance and Administration Manager

Compensation: $75,000–$125,000 base salary, based on experience

Bonus: Eligibility for a discretionary annual performance bonus

About the Role

We’re partnering with a growing company in the Greater Cincinnati area to hire a Finance and Administration Manager.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who is comfortable owning the day‑to‑day accounting function while also helping leadership improve processes and make informed business decisions. You’ll work across transactional accounting, reporting, payroll, financial controls, and general administration.

The right person will come from a small or mid‑sized business environment, enjoy wearing multiple hats, and be interested in growing into a Controller position as the U.S. business continues to expand.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and month‑end close
• Prepare management reports and provide visibility into financial performance
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Strengthen financial controls and help improve accounting and administrative processes
• Manage accounting priorities independently and resolve issues as they arise
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and broader financial analysis
• Partner directly with senior leadership and the commercial team
• Handle confidential employee and financial information appropriately
• Support additional administrative responsibilities based on business needs

What We’re Looking For

• Hands‑on accounting and finance experience across AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, month‑end close, and management reporting
• Experience working within a small or mid‑sized business environment
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial controls
• Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting or ERP systems
• Ability to move comfortably between detailed transactional work and higher‑level financial analysis
• Experience independently managing priorities and maintaining financial accuracy
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Interest in growing into a Controller position and taking on broader U.S. finance leadership responsibilities
• Strong communication, organization, judgment, and discretion

Additional Experience That Would Be Helpful

• Inventory accounting, landed cost, intercompany transactions, or foreign currency
• Experience supporting the U.S. operation of an international organization
• Microsoft Business Central or Paycor
• Implementing or improving accounting, payroll, or administrative systems
• CPA or CMA certification, or progress toward either designation

Compensation and Benefits
