We are committed to operational excellence, innovation, and delivering exceptional service through our team, and we are seeking a Payroll Manager to lead multi-state, union, and prevailing wage payroll operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency at every step. This is a high-visibility role with real ownership as you'll oversee payroll accounting, payroll tax compliance, general ledger reconciliations, and union contract compliance, while leading, coaching, and helping build the payroll team and processes that will carry Servicon into its next chapter.

To excel as the Payroll Manager, you should have:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent payroll management experience.
8+ years of multi-state payroll administration and payroll tax expertise, including compliance with federal, state, local, union, and prevailing wage requirements.
CPP certification required or willing to obtain within 1 year of employment
Proven experience leading payroll teams and driving accuracy, efficiency, and best practices.
Strong knowledge of payroll systems, accounting platforms, and timekeeping solutions such as Workday, UKG, ADP, and related technologies.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage deadlines, cross‑functional projects, and confidential information.
Prior experience partnering with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) is a strong plus, especially as we deepen our own new PEO partnership.
