A well-established real estate investment and management organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Dallas team. This opportunity supportsa diverse portfolio residential properties.

Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, general ledger analysis, cash management, forecasting, budgeting, and property-level accounting.

• Manage daily accounting activities, including cash management and A/R and A/P coordination
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger analysis
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and financial reporting
• Assist with cash flow forecasting, capital calls, and funding requests
• Analyze monthly and year-end budget variances
• Prepare supporting schedules and work papers for financial statements
• Assist with GAAP, tax, cash, and regulatory reporting
• Partner with property management, fund teams, executives, auditors, and regulatory agencies
• Support special projects and process improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of real estate accounting experience, preferably with residential properties
• CPA strongly preferred
• Experience with Yardi, Real Page, JD Edwards, or similar platforms is a plus

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected real estate firm in Dallas. The role is primarily remote, but they are looking for local candidates who can go onsite 2-3 days per month. The expected base compensation for this position is up to $105,000K.
