** Join Humana's Internal Audit team and guide the achievement of Humana's strategic and financial objectives as an Internal Auditor. Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, you will provide value-added service by evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of Humana's operational processes. You will execute audit plans, prepare reports for management on the results of risk audits, and provide recommendations on improvements.

Detailed role responsibilities:
* Perform audit projects and consulting engagements following established methodology and within budgeted time frames.
* Independently prepare audit work papers following Institute of Internal Audit and departmental standards.
* Participate in audit planning, fieldwork and reporting phases of engagements.
* Assist in identifying audit issues and root causes, recommend improvements, and ensure that management develops and implements corrective action plans.
* Communicate the results of audit and consulting projects with written reports and oral presentations to management.#

**** Required Qualifications
*** Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
* 2 years of audit experience
* Experience documenting process walkthroughs and identifying controls
* Experience leading meetings
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CFE, or PMP
* Advanced degree
* Data Analytics / Business Intelligence experience

** The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$65,000 - $88,600 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
