An established, management-owned fund administrator is seeking a Manager to join its growing team in New Jersey. The firm supports private equity, venture capital, real estate, private credit and infrastructure funds, providing accounting, financial reporting, investor services and operational support.
This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing engagement teams and ensuring the accurate delivery of fund accounting and reporting services.

- Lead the day‑to‑day accounting and operations of assigned client engagements.
- Manage, train and develop team members across multiple levels.
- Review fund governing documents, legal structures and reporting requirements.
- Oversee capital calls, distributions, financial statements, supporting work papers, waterfalls, IRRs and performance reporting.
- Review general ledgers, accounting records and client deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage relationships with clients, auditors, tax advisers, legal counsel, banking partners and other third parties.
- Support new client transitions, fund launches, entity formations and investor onboarding.
- Conduct performance reviews and establish development goals for team members.
- Assist with ad hoc client requests and operational projects.
- Experience with in private markets fund accounting or fund administration.
- At least two years of supervisory or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of private equity, venture capital, real estate, private credit or infrastructure funds.
- Experience interpreting LPAs and other fund governing documents.
- Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, capital activity and realized and unrealized waterfall allocations.
- Fund accounting systems experience, preferably Investran.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong leadership, client management and communication capabilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
This role follows a hybrid working model, with three days per week on-site and two days working from home.
