Hopper is hiring a Senior Manager or Director of Revenue Accounting to own its end-to-end revenue recognition and partner economics function, building it from the ground up.
The posting describes a high-ownership individual contributor role reporting directly to the Global Corporate Controller, sitting at the intersection of technical accounting, data infrastructure and commercial partnership. A central task is maturing manual workflows into something scalable.
Travel revenue recognition is genuinely difficult: multiple performance obligations, agency versus principal questions, ancillary and fintech products, refunds and disruption — all of it moving through partner settlements.
Good fit for: revenue accounting specialists with ASC 606 depth, systems fluency and the appetite to build a function rather than run an existing one.
