Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a contract engagement supporting a high-volume billing environment in San Francisco, California. This role is ideal for someone who can manage invoicing with accuracy, work independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The position focuses on translating contract details into billing activity, resolving discrepancies, and helping maintain smooth revenue operations in a fully remote setting.

Responsibilities:

- Generate a large monthly volume of customer invoices with a strong focus on accuracy, completeness, and timely processing.

- Review contract documentation and enter billing information into Net Suite Suite Billing to ensure orders are set up correctly.

- Interpret complex order forms and billing terms to support accurate invoicing across a high-transaction workload.

- Partner with Sales Operations to investigate inconsistencies and confirm billing data aligns with contractual agreements.

- Coordinate with the Revenue team by preparing billing records for review and addressing issues that may affect invoice accuracy.

- Maintain dependable execution of recurring billing tasks while managing deadlines during peak invoicing periods.

- Support daily accounts receivable activities by validating data, monitoring billing workflows, and helping keep records organized.

- Contribute to billing process continuity in a recently implemented Suite Billing environment by following established procedures and identifying errors promptly. Requirements - 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a closely related accounting function.

- Hands-on experience with Net Suite, including exposure to the Suite Billing module.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to process high volumes of billing data accurately.

- Proven ability to work independently and stay organized in a fully remote work environment.

- Experience reviewing contracts, interpreting billing terms, and translating them into invoice-ready information.

- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional partners such as Sales Operations and Revenue teams.

- Familiarity with core accounts receivable functions, including billing activity, cash applications, collections, and cash activity management.
