Target Compensation: $115,000–$120,000, with potential flexibility based on experience

• Oversee daily accounting operations, cash management, bank activity, billing, AR/AP, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Manage payroll reporting for approximately 42 employees, including commission-based compensation calculations for equity partners.
• Maintain proper separation and management of client and operating funds, including IOLTA accounts.
• Lead and mentor two staff accountants while serving as a financial resource to attorneys and firm leadership.
• Support cash forecasting, partner distributions, banking relationships, collections, and external audit activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Prior Controller or comparable progressive accounting experience; direct people-management experience is not required if you have demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Law firm accounting experience strongly preferred; professional services, public accounting, wealth management, healthcare, or other relevant environments will be considered.
• Strong Excel skills required; experience with cash-basis accounting, client trust funds, commission-based payroll, or ShorePoint is a plus.
