Accounting Clerk

Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr – $80,000.00/yr

We're looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our finance team to support daily operations, maintain accurate financial records, perform reconciliations, assist with month‑end close, and manage loan‑related activities. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to ensure smooth accounting processes and contribute to ongoing improvements in systems and workflows.

• Handle daily cash and lending operations, including reconciliations and posting transactions.
• Support loan servicing activities such as tracking principal payments and interest.
• Maintain documentation for funding, loan activity, and past‑due interest.
• Assist with accounts payable and ensure proper coding for all transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for month‑end close.
• Manage prepaid expense tracking and fixed asset records.
• Collaborate on process improvements and system upgrades.
• Provide support for audits, compliance requests, and ad‑hoc projects.

• 1‑3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Associate degree or higher in Accounting.
• Familiarity with accounts payable and prepaid expense processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Must be based in the U.S.
• Preferred: Experience with Net Suite, fintech or Bitcoin‑related businesses, and a basic understanding of digital assets.
