Associate Director of Accounting and Operations

Our client is a leading manager of alternative investment solutions. They seek an Associate Director of Accounting and Operations to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities Direct the day-to-day accounting, compliance, corporate governance, and internal control functions of the fund Facilitate the quarterly and annual accounting close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Administer relationships with external service providers and vendors, including fund accounting and administrative partners

Compile quarterly Forms 10-Q, annual Forms 10-K, and other required public filings

Liaise with external auditors throughout quarterly reviews, annual audits, and SOX compliance activities

Supervise the internal audit process conducted by third-party providers

Generate and review quarterly compliance reporting packages

Analyze portfolio, financial, and operational data to support senior management decision-making

Requirements5+ years of fund accounting experience

Public or combo experienceBDC and credit experience SEC experience is a huge plusCPA required
