PMCTechnical Accounting Senior Manager; Remote, PST OR MST

Pink Moon Consulting is partnering with a leading financial technology company to identify a Technical Accounting Senior Manager who can bring clarity, sound judgment, and strong technical leadership to complex accounting matters. This is a high-impact opportunity to serve as a trusted subject-matter expert, shape accounting positions and policies, and partner across Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and the business. The role is remote, with candidates in Pacific or Mountain time zones.

• Research complex, non-routine, and emerging accounting matters and prepare clear, well-supported technical accounting memos under U.S. GAAP.
• Lead analyses involving revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, leases, debt, equity, EPS, investments, and business combinations.
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and SEC guidance, maintain accounting policies, and lead implementation of significant changes.
• Support Form 10-Q and 10-K work papers, own key SOX controls, and coordinate with external auditors.
• Partner cross-functionally to evaluate the accounting and reporting implications of strategic initiatives and new transactions.

• Active CPA license and a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of technical accounting experience, including at least one year at the Senior Manager level.
• At least four recent and relevant years with a Big Four firm, ideally in advisory, capital markets, financial services, or a national technical accounting office.
• Demonstrated experience drafting technical accounting memos and applying ASC 606 and ASC 718.
• Public company, SEC reporting, SOX, and external audit experience; fintech, SaaS, or software experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, executive presence, and comfort operating with ownership and autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
