Senior Accountant

Location:

Remote – Colombia

Employment Type:

Full-time

We're looking for an experienced, detail-driven Senior Accountant to help lead the financial operations behind a growing technology company. We build smart, simple, and scalable parking guidance and occupancy counting solutions, using intelligent cameras to power a flexible, economical parking ecosystem for operators everywhere. We believe less is more: giving parkers just enough information to make smart decisions, and giving operators the metrics they need to run their facilities effectively.

As Senior Accountant, you'll bring structure and precision to our books, strengthen our financial controls, and partner daily with our U.S.

-based team to support the company's continued growth.

Benefits and Compensation
  • Permanent Work from Home
  • Paid Time Off
  • Monthly Performance Bonus
  • Annual Bonus
  • Health Allowance
  • Internet Allowance
What you'll do
  • Month-End & Year-End Close: Own the full close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals, ensuring the books are accurate, complete, and closed on schedule every month.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP, and deliver clear, accurate reporting packages for leadership and stakeholders.
  • General Ledger & Reconciliations: Manage the general ledger end to end, including bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations, catching and resolving discrepancies before they become problems.
  • Revenue & Cost Accounting: Apply revenue recognition principles across subscription, hardware, and service-based revenue streams common to a technology business, and support accurate tracking of cost of goods sold, fixed assets, and depreciation.
  • Controls & Process Improvement: Strengthen internal controls, document accounting policies and procedures, and identify opportunities to streamline processes as the company scales.
  • System Transitions: Support our evolving finance systems, including the transition from Quick Books to Service Titan and RAMP, and our upcoming move to Sage Intacct, helping ensure clean data and uninterrupted reporting throughout.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Partner with the U.S. finance team on budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, and ad hoc analysis, and serve as a knowledgeable resource on accounting questions across the business.
What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior experience at a technology or SaaS company.
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes for a growing, fast-paced business.
  • Proficiency with modern accounting and finance platforms; experience with Quick Books, Service Titan, and RAMP is highly valued, and familiarity with Sage Intacct (or the ability to learn it quickly) is a plus as we transition our systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset and the ability to work independently while staying closely aligned with a U.S.

    -based team.
  • Availability during standard U.S. working hours.
  • A reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
How you work
  • Problem solving: You dig into issues, weigh the options, and land on practical solutions.
