Payroll​/Accounting Manager; Fully Remote

• Oversee all payroll cycles (bi-weekly, weekly) across 37 communities and corporate entities.
• Manage payroll operations, including GL mapping, journal entries, and reconciliation.
• Build standardized intake and onboarding workflows for new hires and changes.

Leadership & Compliance:

• Supervise and develop Payroll Specialists, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Serve as primary contact for managed payroll vendor, tracking SLAs and tax balances.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Design payroll reports to feed labor metrics (hours, overtime, premium pay).
• Produce monthly community scorecards and support finance team reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5-8+ years of progressive payroll/accounting experience; multi-state and multi-entity expertise.
• Strong GL and accounting fluency, with Workday Payroll and Yardi exposure preferred.
