Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Supervise two direct reports, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable staff
• Review and analyze financial statements before presentation to the CFO and Controller
• Partner with external auditors throughout the audit process
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger activity
• Oversee sales and use tax compliance across domestically and internationally
• Develop KPIs and ad hoc reporting for operations leadership
• Support multiple entities and contribute to process improvements as the company continues to grow

Qualifications Needed for the Senior Accountant

• Bachelors in Accounting with 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong general ledger and month-end close experience
• Experience reviewing and preparing financial statements
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
