Key Responsibilities:

Lead month-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and fixed assets
Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential issues
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and collections
Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts, resolving discrepancies efficiently
Prepare and review general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
Support group reporting and respond to ad hoc finance requests
Maintain documentation, internal controls, and assist with audits and tax prep

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong month‑end close expertise
Hands‑on experience with Xero accounting software
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliation, and data analysis)
Solid understanding of US GAAP
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self‑motivated, capable of working independently in a remote setting

Nice to Have

Skills:

CPA or similar certification
Experience supporting multi‑entity or international group reporting
Background in software or technology industries

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of relevant accounting experience
Experience with global or multi‑entity financial reporting preferred
