The OpportunitySuper Ordinary is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant, US Revenue & Operations Accounting to join our U.S. Accounting & Finance team on an initial six-month contract-to-hire basis
.
This role is designed for someone who can quickly integrate into the team, take ownership of key revenue and operational accounting responsibilities, and make an immediate impact in a fast-moving environment.
The initial commitment will be six months, with the potential to convert to a regular full-time position based on business needs, performance, and mutual fit
. While conversion is not guaranteed, we are approaching this opportunity with the intention of identifying someone who can become a long-term contributor to the team.
This position will work closely with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and other cross-functional partners and will report to the Director, Revenue & Operations Accounting
.
This role is 100% remote and open to candidates based in the United States.
What You’ll DoAs a key member of the U.S. Revenue and Inventory Accounting team, you will:
Play an integral role in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring transactional data is captured completely, accurately, on time, and in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
Manage, record, and reconcile monthly revenue transactions in Net Suite for multiple entities utilizing journal entries and invoices.
Apply knowledge of ASC 606 and SOX 404 to revenue recognition processes and invoicing documentation requirements.
Ensure cost of goods sold and capitalized inbound freight are accurately recorded in Net Suite.
Partner with operational teams to maintain, analyze, and reconcile inventory held at company warehouses and third-party logistics providers.
Record and reconcile Accounts Receivable and inventory-related Accounts Payable transactions, including invoicing, payments, and assigned balance sheet reconciliations.
Record, expense, reconcile, and maintain monthly and quarterly accruals.
Assist with the management and reconciliation of AR and inventory sub-ledgers within Net Suite.
Manage AR aging and related follow-up processes.
Support the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages for the global Finance team.
Assist with the ongoing development, optimization, and maintenance of the Net Suite ERP environment.
Support year-end audit requests and documentation for assigned areas.
