Eisner Amper is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Private Client Services practice. The role calls for overseeing multiple client engagements, reviewing complex returns, managing staff, and conducting research. Strong leadership and the ability to foster professional growth among staff are essential. This position offers flexibility in location, including a fully remote option.

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and firm leadership.
• Develop and impart specialized knowledge aligned with firm niches and initiatives.
• Maintain accurate time and billing for self and the team.
• Train, supervise, and develop associates and seniors.
• Develop a working knowledge of the client’s business and meet client deadlines.
• Actively solicit new client relationships and participate in client seminars to expand networking opportunities.
• Stay updated on tax law changes, regulations, and accounting standards, and apply new knowledge proactively.
• Collaborate with other tax professionals to coordinate efforts, share knowledge, and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Hold self and direct reports accountable for achieving developmental goals.
• Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance technical knowledge and industry expertise.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or an equivalent field.
• Five or more years of recent (within two years) tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or a mix of public and private experience.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification required.
• Experience preparing or reviewing U.S. tax returns for individuals.

• Master’s Degree in Taxation or a relevant field.
• Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software.
