Payroll Accountant

Run an accurate and timely payroll, and help design the payroll and employee expense features that our customers ask for.

• Process the monthly payroll: salaries, benefits, overtime, absences and final settlements.
• Calculate and file the social security contributions and the payroll taxes on time.
• Post the payroll journals and reconcile the payroll accounts with the general ledger.
• Keep employee records, contracts and payroll documents complete and confidential.
• Define the requirements of the payroll and expense claim features with the product team.

• 3+ years of payroll experience, including the related accounting entries.
• Solid knowledge of labour law and payroll taxes.
• Experience with a payroll system and with Excel.
• Experience with other accounting platforms such as Quick Books, Xero, Odoo or Oracle Net Suite.
• Experience with the My Cloud Book  platform. A free trial account is enough to learn it before you apply.
• Discretion, accuracy and respect for deadlines.

• Payroll experience in Spain or in the Gulf countries.
• Experience with a human resources information system.
• A payroll or accounting certificate.
