Position Summary

The position will be responsible for providing support to units within the Certification and Licensing Division with a primary focus on the Alternative Business Structure and Defensive Driving programs. This position will work on and support multiple projects simultaneously. The Specialist will work directly with applicants, division staff, Committees, Boards, and the State Bar to coordinate all aspects of the licensing process.

Additionally, this position will serve as one of the primary administrators of the Salesforce platform, helping to coordinate and assist with initial and renewal investigations. Perform critical administrative functions including scheduling and facilitating in-person and virtual committee meetings and coordinating committee membership; records management for program board, committee, and subcommittee files, including appointments and meeting documentation. Assist in drafting legal and program documents, narratives, reports, and confidential memos and correspondence, as well as draft and tracks changes to statutes, court rules, and the Arizona Code of Judicial Administration (ACJA).

This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program qualified employer.

Minimum Requirements

This position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of related experience. Directly relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement. This position requires skills in effectively engaging and guiding challenging individuals or complex business entities. The ability to understand and preserve the confidentiality and security of files, records, documents, and information and to apply court rules in responding to public records requests.

Possess clear and effective written and verbal communication abilities, professionalism and good customer service. This position also requires the capability to analyze situations and solve problems effectively.

Selection Process

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Only applicants whose backgrounds most closely meet the needs of the position may be invited to interview. and first and/or second round panel interviews. This is a regular, full-time, non-exempt position.
