Kongsberg Discovery is growing, and we’re looking for a Document Controller to join our team. In this role, you'll support our Engineering Team by making sure the right documentation is available, up to date, and easy to find. Your work will help keep our projects running smoothly and ensure we deliver high‑quality solutions.

What you will be doing- Administer and maintain the organization’s document control system, including registration, storage, and distribution of documents.
- Ensure all documents comply with standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Check that documents are correct, complete, and approved before distribution or archiving.
- Monitor and manage different versions of documents to prevent the use of outdated files. Ensure only the latest version is in circulation.
- Ensure that relevant documents are easily accessible to those who need them and are securely and correctly archived.
- Guarantee that document handling adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Assist colleagues by providing training and guidance in the use of document management systems and routines.
- Assist Project Managers with project delivery, meeting organization, and preparation of SMDL.
- Relevant education, preferably in administration, document management, or similar fields.
- Experience with document control systems and digital tools.
- Strong understanding of information workflow, archiving principles, and quality control.
- Accuracy, organization, and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
The successful candidate may start work with limited access whilst the clearance is being processed. Please note that this might affect the offer process or employment.
