Position: Judiciary Clerk 3, Operations Facilities

Salary

The salary range for this position is $45,877.84 to $69,484.11 for Schedule A, and $45,877.84 to $62,203.88 for Schedule

B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to August 21, 2014, are considered Schedule

A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after August 21, 2014, are considered Schedule

Remote Work

The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.

Responsibilities
  • distribute materials, equipment, parts or supplies
  • lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and, occasionally, materials weighing up to 75 pounds
  • inform managers about clients’/customers’/ work progress or related matters
  • answer questions posed by judges, the public, clients, customers, complainants, co-workers, subordinates, stakeholders and/or supervisors
  • compile information and data for documents, records, and/or reports
  • consult with outside agencies or individuals about information necessary for job assignments
  • correct errors in data, accounts, or documents
  • draft technical specifications for purchase of equipment, parts or supplies
  • establish and/or maintain record keeping and/or tracking systems
  • estimate time, costs, materials or personnel for accomplishing assignments
  • explain judiciary policies or procedures
  • inform responsible person or organization of difficulties, accomplishments, plans or goals
  • initiate requests for various services and system access
  • perform tagging functions for court recording systems
  • recommend improvements in operating procedures, programs, standards, work processes or administrative practices
  • recommend purchase of equipment, materials or supplies
  • request information from vendors on materials, equipment, parts or supplies
  • troubleshoot office equipment malfunctions
  • perform other duties as required
Experience Requirement

One year of experience performing a variety of clerical and support services to include keyboarding and one or more of the following: document or information processing, handling payments for fees, recording monies received, reconciling balances or accounts and/or scheduling meetings or appointments.

Physical Ability

Applicants must have the ability to perform work which requires climbing and prolonged standing, stretching, bending and reaching. The selected candidate must be able to frequently lift and carry supplies weighing from 30 to 50 pounds and, occasionally, materials weighing up to 75 pounds.

Driver's License
