SALARY: The salary range for this position is $50,417.50 to $79,471.38 for Schedule A, and $50,417.50 to $71,144.74 for Schedule
B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to August 21, 2014, are considered Schedule A.
Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after August 21, 2014, are considered Schedule B.

The Passaic Vicinage Finance Division is seeking a highly motivated, conscientious, detail‑oriented, customer‑service focused individual for a Judiciary Clerk 4 position. The successful candidate should possess strong technical, mathematical reasoning, customer service and teamwork skills; possess the ability to work independently and as part of the team, serve as a lead worker, adhere to deadlines, and show attention to detail and accuracy.
REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high‑speed home internet access.
- Collecting and processing all bails and fees for Superior Court related matters and handle other bail related functions.
- Processing daily Family related documents into FACTS and reconcile to the FACTS daily reports.
- Processing daily Superior Court Miscellaneous fees into JFMS, update Criminal Misc. Spreadsheet and reconcile same to the JFMS reports.
- Collecting and processing all fines, restitution and fees for Probation and Child Support.
- Act as lead worker to team members.
- Assist in training staff with their job duties.
- Provide technical advice and/or assist team with questions, work in progress and administrative directives.
- Perform other work duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Court Executive 2B (Finance Division Manager), Court Executive 1B (Assistant Finance Division Manager) and/or Administrative Supervisor 1 as operationally required.
Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position. Open to employees of the Judiciary who have an aggregate of one year of permanent service as of the announced closing date in the following career (classified) titles:

- Judiciary Clerk 3 Bilingual
- Judiciary Account Clerk 2
- Judiciary Account Clerk 2 Bilingual
Eligibility is based upon the applicants having achieved all the competencies for advancement to Judiciary Clerk 4 as listed on the Career Progression Eligibility Form for this title. Applicants for advancement to the Judiciary Clerk 4 title are not required to take a New Jersey Civil Service Commission promotional examination.
