A role you will loveThe Assistant Team Lead will work with the Team Lead and be supportive by considering the total workload of transactions that need to be processed. Working from a queue through our system, the Transaction Processors complete data entry of shareholder details and share amounts as well as requests to transfer shares from one party to another, requests to sell shares and update accounts, which include address changes, dividend payment elections and a variety of other maintenance transactions.
You will be responsible for distributing this work amongst the Transaction Processing team.
As a motivator and organizer for the Transaction Processors, you will be a subject matter expert who also leads by example, working through the queue daily to assist the team as a whole.
Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To- Updates Processors' daily rosters to reflect availability for Workflow processing and assigns tasks outside of Workflow.
- Utilizes tools such as Dashboard to oversee the distribution of work and ensure that internal, regulatory and client turnaround times and SLAs are met.
- Provide support during internal and external audits of the department. Participate on client tours through demonstrations of the processing system. May be asked to work on additional projects as needed.
- Provides feedback and coaching to Transaction Processors regarding productivity and quality using tools such as Dashboard and quality.
- Model teamwork by supporting peers in meeting the overall goals of the department and support team members through motivation and providing support for team members in performing their job duties.
- Review and update operating procedures and policies with the goal of improving efficiency and quality
- Performs self-audits to confirm work is performed in compliance with operational policies and procedures
- Train staff as needed through OTJ or structured classes
- Identify and research errors and issues, document event summaries, perform root cause analysis, and propose and execute remediation plans.
- Daily data entry processing for various transaction types including transfers, purchases/sells, and account maintenance within established productivity and quality standards alongside the Transaction Processors
Considering there are specific service level standards related to the review and processing of transactions, dependability, and the ability to prioritize your daily work as well as the workload of others is important in this role. If you are a natural leader with keen organizational skills, data entry experience, and strong reading comprehension abilities this may be the perfect fit for you.

The typical base pay range for this role is $30/hr.
