Our client, a professional services organisation based in Dublin 2, has partnered exclusively with Re:work on a fully managed recruitment campaign to find an HR Administrator to support their People function.
The Role:This is a hands‑on operational role keeping HR activities running smoothly. You'll manage the administrative backbone of the department - handling queries, maintaining records, coordinating recruitment activity, and ensuring everything is processed accurately and on time.
About the Organisation & HR FunctionOur client is an established Irish organisation with a strong reputation in their sector. Their People team operates as a strategic partner to the business, and this role sits within the HR Operations function – the team responsible for making sure everything works efficiently behind the scenes.
What You'll Be Doing- Managing shared HR inboxes – triaging queries, responding directly where appropriate, and routing matters to the right people
- Keeping employee records accurate and up‑to‑date across HR systems, including electronic filing and routine maintenance
- Supporting data quality activities like auditing records, organising shared drives, and chasing outstanding documentation
- Providing full recruitment administration support - interview coordination, documentation management, pre‑employment checks
- Managing the onboarding process from offer stage through to day one – contracts, access setup, training coordination
- Processing employee leave and time records including sick leave, family leave, and attendance tracking
- Supporting absence management administration
- Handling recurring HR processes like probation tracking, system updates, and service milestone administration
- Coordinating external training bookings, processing payments, and maintaining training records
- Supporting the Head of People with administrative tasks as needed
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives by implementing changes and updating documentation
- Assisting with policy document updates and file management
- Maintaining professional communication across the organisation and with external partners
- Minimum one year administrative experience.
- Experience using HR software or database systems
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities to deadline
- Strong organisational skills and ability to handle high volumes of work
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, cloud platforms, and standard communication tools
- Team player with previous collaborative experience
- Self‑starter who can maintain momentum and productivity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Contract: Fixed‑term, 9 months
- Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday‑Friday
- Flexible Benefits: Access to flexitime after probation period
- Location: Hybrid working – 2 days per week on‑site in their Dublin 2 office, 3 days remote working.
