Position: Grant Specialist I (Remote) - Department of Medicine

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Perform pre-award job duties in response to proposal guidelines and terms
  • Assist faculty with proposal preparation, budgeting, and submission
  • Coordinate with the Principal Investigator to compile and submit grants
  • Monitor and assist with annual agency reports and budget revisions
  • Serve as a liaison for grant-related information and compliance
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in grant administration or research management
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Familiarity with research regulations and compliance standards
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Knowledge of Research Management System (RMS) and SUBS System
  • Experience with grant applications and administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with accounting principles
