NJ Case Coordinator (Remote)

Forthright is hiring a NJ Case Coordinator to administer arbitration cases under the New Jersey No‑Fault system. This role is 100% remote after orientation; however, candidates must reside in New Jersey due to the nature of the work and occasional in‑person meetings.

General Duties and Responsibilities

Manage NJ No‑Fault arbitration cases end‑to‑end, ensuring filings, communications, scheduling, awards, and case data are handled accurately, timely, and in compliance with procedural requirements. Coordinate with arbitrators and parties, monitor deadlines, and maintain high service standards in a detail‑oriented, deadline‑driven environment.

Duties include:

  • Manage NJ No‑Fault arbitration cases from initiation through award and closure in our case management system (CMS).
  • Review filings (demands, responses, requests) for completeness, timeliness, and procedural compliance.
  • Draft and process correspondence, acknowledgments, scheduling notices, and other required communications.
  • Coordinate with Dispute Resolution Professionals (DRPs), including scheduling oral hearings and processing pre‑hearing requests and resulting orders.
  • Review, prepare, redact, distribute, and close arbitration awards accurately and timely.
  • Maintain accurate case data and update case statuses in accordance with defined workflows.
  • Process daily email communications and electronic notifications.
  • Ensure deadlines and service standards are met; elevate procedural or service issues when appropriate.
  • Support team caseloads and maintain strong attention to detail in a deadline‑driven environment.
Qualifications

Seeking a detail‑oriented professional with 3–5 years of experience in legal administration, case management, , or a related field, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to learn and apply complex procedural rules. Knowledge of arbitration a plus. Candidates must be tech‑comfortable, team‑oriented, customer‑focused, able to manage deadlines effectively, and reside in New Jersey.

  • 3–5 years of experience in legal administration, case management, , or a arbitration related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Plus if there is familiarity with NJ No‑Fault Rules or ability to quickly learn complex procedural rules.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking ability.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Professional, team‑oriented mindset with strong customer service skills.
  • Comfortable using technology and case management systems (MS Office proficiency required).
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work additional hours when deadlines require.
  • Must reside in New Jersey.
