Job SummaryThe Erb Institute is the business‑sustainability partnership between the Ross School of Business and the School for Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan. Founded in 1996, the institute is recognized as a global leader in working with students, scholars, companies, nonprofits, and policymakers to improve the social, environmental, human rights, and diversity impact of business.
This role is hybrid with on‑site expectations in Ann Arbor, MI 3 days per week. Domestic travel (2‑3x/year) may be required. You may work during early mornings, nights, or weekends.

What You’ll DoThe Erb Institute Program Coordinator supports the planning and execution of student‑facing programs and events across the Erb Institute. You will play a key part in student recruitment for the Dual Degree MBA/MS and Undergraduate Erb Fellows programs, manage application and data processes, provide program and event support for the Erb Institute, and help deliver a high‑quality student experience from onboarding through graduation and transition to alumni.
You will report to the Student Affairs Program Manager.

- Coordinate and execute Institute programs and events, including logistics, timelines, vendors, travel, catering, and on‑site support.
- Plan and support virtual and in‑person recruitment, admissions, and student engagement events.
- Manage application, review, and admissions processes for the undergraduate program including tracking and documentation.
- Provide recruitment support, including executing tasks and projects aligned with recruitment strategies, assisting with scholarship disbursement operations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and current students, providing timely and thoughtful communication.
- Prepare agendas, materials, and communications for programs, meetings, and events.
- Maintain and analyze recruitment, enrollment, and program data; generate reports and insights to support decision‑making.
- Manage student records and systems, ensuring accuracy and appropriate access.
- Support student onboarding, orientations, and offboarding processes for both graduate and undergraduate students, contributing to a positive student experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting recruitment, outreach, or program coordination in a professional or academic setting.
- Experienced in public speaking and comfortable presenting in‑person and virtually.
- Experience managing projects, events, or processes from planning through execution.
- Proficiency with standard workplace technologies, including Google Workspace and Customer Relationship Management platforms such as Salesforce.
