About the PositionAs the Contract Administrator III, you will serve as CDOT’s Docu Sign Administrator for contracts. This includes creating envelopes for electronic signature, troubleshooting issues with electronic document envelopes, uploading executed contracts into the SRM system, releasing outline agreements and purchase orders in SAP system, and updating the effective and expiration dates on SAP financial records when the contracting documents are executed.
You will also serve as the Controller’s point person in updating and maintaining a library of all CDOT contract templates, including OSC approved modifications to expenditure contracts, and any CDOT approved non-expenditure contracts.
- Review contracts in accordance with OSC guidelines and contract laws to determine risk factors and ensure that contracts are accurate and complete.
- Analyze data contained in contract and commitment documents to ensure timely and accurate processing in OnBase and tracking in SAP.
- Monitor and determine availability of funds prior to obtaining the Controller’s signature on contracts.
- Research, resolve, and coordinate any funding issues identified during the contract review process.
- Serve as a liaison for communication between the CDOT Controller, the Attorney General’s Office, OSC’s Contracting Unit, and CDOT employees to ensure that proper funding and data are provided for the accuracy of processing contracts.
- Analyze and use judgement to resolve internal procedural issues regarding contracts to be signed by the CDOT Controller.
- Assist with and provide back‑up on reviewing contracts as needed, including high‑risk contracts, engineering task orders, and right‑of‑way contracts.
- Provide effective customer service and guidance to a wide variety of CDOT employees.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- Your schedule will primarily be 8:00 am – 5:00 pm work hours, Monday‑Friday, but we are flexible to meet your work/life balance needs while ensuring CDOT business needs are met.
- After a training period, you will likely work a hybrid schedule with a combination of in‑office and remote work, with the expectation of at least one day a week in‑office.
