Grant Program Coordinator
The Grant Program Coordinator plays a key role within the Lymphoma & Myeloma department, supporting a wide range of research administration activities across pre‑award and post‑award functions. The Lymphoma & Myeloma department conducts innovative clinical and translational research aimed at improving outcomes for patients with hematologic malignancies. The Grant Program Coordinator supports faculty, trainees, and research staff by managing grants, facilitating compliance, coordinating reporting requirements, and maintaining financial accuracy across complex portfolios. As a central resource for investigators, the Grant Program Coordinator ensures high-quality administrative execution that advances the department's scientific goals. The Grant Program Coordinator collaborates closely with faculty and finance stakeholders across the institution and contributes to the long‑term success of major research efforts.
The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented professional with preferred experience in research administration, grant management, and sponsor compliance. Preferred qualifications include experience supporting principal investigators, working with federal and private research sponsors, and developing or monitoring grant budgets. If preferred qualifications are unavailable, candidates should meet the minimum education and experience requirements listed in Section 6.
Minimum Salary $68,500 - Midpoint Salary $85,500 - Maximum Salary $102,500

- Provide faculty and fellows with grant opportunities
- Develop proposal budgets with principal investigators
- Gather proposal components including biosketches, current and pending support, letters, scientific sections, SciENCV, and compliance documents
- Review and edit proposals for adherence to sponsor and institutional guidelines
- Submit applications through Click Grants and coordinate with the Office of Sponsored Programs
- Submit applications through sponsor systems including Proposal Central and FLUXX
- Respond to sponsor requests including Just‑in‑Time submissions
- Monitor and reconcile expenditures and ensure accurate use of project funds
- Ensure timely effort capture for faculty and staff through ePAFs
- Monitor invoicing and payments with sponsors and Grants & Contracts Administration
- Coordinate preparation and submission of progress reports and final financial reports
- Initiate requests such as no‑cost extensions, effort changes, rebudgeting, and chart field setup
- Close out grants in accordance with institutional guidelines
- Manage internal awards and philanthropic gift spending with the Philanthropy Office
- Provide administrative support for research agreements, including Strategic Research Alliances
- Assist with monthly and quarterly effort monitoring and reporting
- Maintain PI effort commitment tracking spreadsheets
- Ensure monthly PI salary allocation summaries are accurate and distributed
- Participate in project meetings with investigators
- Assist with MTAs, Supply Chain agreements, and related administrative tasks
