Job Summary
HR Service Jobs is seeking detail-oriented and highly motivated Remote Transcriptionists to join our growing team in Canada. As a Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for accurately converting audio and video recordings into written documents. This role is ideal for individuals with strong listening, typing, and grammar skills who prefer a flexible, remote work environment. You will collaborate with clients from various industries, including healthcare, legal, academic, and corporate sectors, ensuring transcripts meet quality and confidentiality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Transcribe audio and video recordings into written form with a high degree of accuracy.
- Review and edit transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and formatting consistency.
- Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines with exceptional time management.
- Ensure all transcripts adhere to client-specific style guides and confidentiality agreements.
- Use transcription software and tools efficiently to enhance workflow productivity.
- Communicate clearly with team members or clients regarding project specifications.
- Maintain an organized record of completed assignments and revisions.
- Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proficient typing speed (minimum 60 words per minute preferred).
- Strong listening and comprehension skills, even with diverse accents and audio quality.
- Ability to use transcription tools such as Express Scribe, oTranscribe, or similar software.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free work.
- Reliable computer and high-speed internet connection for remote collaboration.
- Prior transcription experience (medical, legal, or general) is an asset but not mandatory.
- Freshers with excellent language skills and fast typing ability are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience working in a remote or freelance setting is a plus.
