Role Description

This is a part-time Virtual Assistant position for a business in Ottawa, ON. The Virtual Assistant will provide administrative support to the organization, social media support, designing posts, video editing, scheduling posts (content provided), adding or changing content on our website, supporting administration and promotion for workshops and courses. 8-10 hours/month.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks
  • Experience providing administrative support in a remote or office environment
  • Social media experience as follows:
  • Managing social media accounts such as Instagram, Facebook, or Linked In
  • Designing simple social media graphics and posts using tools such as Canva or similar platform
  • Basic video editing for short-form content (e.g., reels or clips) using tools such as Cap Cut or iMovie
  • Scheduling social media content using platforms such as Meta Business Suite
  • Experience updating website content and creating visually appealing emails using platforms such as Squarespace
  • Help design and implement a strategy for promoting workshops and courses
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently, track details, manage multiple tasks, use office software
  • Interest in maternal and infant health or family support is an asset
  • Located in Ottawa or surrounding area
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field preferred
