Position SummaryThe Mailroom Clerk provides operational support across document production, mail services, and general office functions. This role supports high-volume copying, printing, imaging, and mail processing while ensuring equipment is maintained and customer service standards are met. Additional responsibilities may include front desk support, meeting room setup, and light facility maintenance depending on site needs. This position reports to the Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or Assistant Site Manager.
ResponsibilitiesDocument & Print Services
- Operate high-volume copy, print, and duplicating equipment
- Perform binding, finishing, and quality control checks on completed work
- Operate document imaging systems and related software
- Manage digital files, including opening, saving, and transferring documents
- Generate reports for digital printing and imaging systems
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and faxes
- Sort, distribute, and apply appropriate postage
- Handle shipping and receiving of materials and supplies
- Maintain logs and records related to mail and shipments
- Respond to customer requests and service calls
- Communicate job status and provide guidance on project feasibility
- Deliver completed work to designated locations (on-site and off-site)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area
- Ensure copiers and equipment are functioning properly through daily checks
- Clear paper jams and elevate technical issues as needed
- Maintain service logs, meter readings, and supply inventories
- Operate equipment such as:
- Shrink-wrap machines
- Paper cutters and hole drills
- Bindery equipment and joggers
- Staplers, tape machines, and postage meters
- Perform filing, archiving, and document management tasks
- Track job billing and maintain basic logs
- Support office supply distribution
- Assist with meeting and conference room setup
- Provide reception or call center support when required
- Assist with office moves, light maintenance (e.g., re-lamping), and housekeeping tasks
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic PC proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, file management)
- Ability to operate office equipment and technical machinery
- Attention to detail with strong quality‑checking abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
High school diploma or GED required

CompensationRange and Additional Information
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The hourly range for this remote role is $16.00- $16.35/hourly. This rate reflects the target compensation range for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
