Student Worker - CIT Student Services Support (Student/Work Study)
CIT is seeking a student worker to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include data entry, assisting with projects, event planning, and providing administrative support to CIT Student Services. Please include a cover letter with your application.
Responsibilities- Perform accurate and timely data entry tasks using various software applications.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of CIT student events for current students.
- Provide general front desk help for the CIT Academic Services Suite.
- Handle FERPA protected information with discretion and professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of CIT Student Services.
- Currently enrolled as a CIT student within the University of Michigan – Flint in good academic standing.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Available to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week within the CIT Student Services Center for the duration of the position.
- Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Google Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Summer availability preferred but not required.
Onsite.
The work requires, or the supervisor approves, a fully onsite presence. Onsite is defined as a designated U‑M owned or leased work location within or outside of the State of Michigan.
