E-Resource and Collections Student Assistant

This position will assist the Digital & Print Collections Management Librarian in ensuring our electronic resources are working properly to create a better online experience for our users. The Library hosts over a million electronic resources, including streaming video and audio. The role will involve testing access on and off campus, allowing for some remote work, and also working with physical library collections and projects such as yearly inventory.

• Test access to electronic resources, note issues, and work with staff members to resolve them.
• Inventory physical library collections, assist staff in resolving discrepancies, and pull items for processing as needed.
• Deprocess materials that are removed from the library collection.
• Complete other tasks and projects as assigned.

• Familiarity with search engines and basic research skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good note‑taking skills to record work.
• Familiarity with Google Sheets.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Interest in how to use and promote library resources.
