This position is a temporary, paid internship position working at the Bank’s corporate office. Remote work will not be authorized. The term of internship will be 3 months with the potential opportunity to extend longer based upon the needs of the Bank. Fidelity Bank is an at‑will employer.
The primary focus of this internship will be to support the organization, migration, and archival of historical documents into the Bank’s permanent document management system. Exposure will include banking operations, process improvement, documentation governance, and compliance‑supported workflows.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES- Report to various departments, as assigned.
- Assist with the inventory, organization, and review of historical documents currently stored on network/shared drives.
- Support the migration of eligible documents into the Bank’s designated document management system in accordance with established retention standards.
- Validate document categorization and naming conventions to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Identify, document, and communicate exceptions, gaps, or issues discovered during the migration process.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and Bank information and adhere to all Bank policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support Bank initiatives.
As an essential function of the job, the Electronic Banking Intern must be able to safeguard confidential business information and adhere to the Bank’s Code of Ethics and other policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS- High school diploma required.
- Current college student, recent graduate, or individual pursuing education in business, information systems, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience with document management, data entry, or administrative support is helpful but not required.
- No prior banking experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and directions.
- Comfort working with electronic files, folders, and document systems.
- Willingness to learn new processes and systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and care.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
