Telecom Project Coordinator (Closeout & Financials) – 100% Remote

Job Title: Project Controls / Closeout Coordinator
Location: Remote (Must support CST or EST time zones)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (~ 6 months)
Pay Rate: $31.25/hour (W2, offering benefits)

Overview:
Seeking three highly organized and detail-oriented Project Controls / Closeout Coordinators to support ongoing telecom infrastructure projects. These roles are fully remote but require availability to support project teams operating in Central or Eastern time zones. Ideal candidates will have experience managing project documentation, closeout deliverables, financial tracking, and vendor coordination within the wireless telecom industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and manage project financials, including purchase orders, invoicing, and change orders
  • Maintain documentation and ensure timely coordination and submission of closeout packages
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project milestones and data accuracy
  • Maintain and update internal trackers and third-party systems
  • Assist in preparing reports and communicating status updates to project stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and client requirements
  • Support process improvements and provide administrative coordination as needed
Qualifications:
  • Experience in project coordination, closeout documentation, or project controls—preferably in telecom
  • Familiarity with AT&T projects or systems strongly preferred
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and follow-through
Additional Details:
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours (flexible start times as early as 6:30 AM CST/EST)
  • Markets Supported: Minnesota, North Texas, and New York/New Jersey (candidates can reside anywhere but must support one of these markets)
  • Travel: None
  • Overtime: Not expected (OT rate 1.5x if applicable)
  • Background Check: Required (10 years, includes DMV and employment verification)
  • Drug Screen: 10-panel required (no exceptions for THC/medical marijuana)
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required
  • Sponsorship: Not available
