Position: Administrative Assistant Regional Municipality)
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant IV to join our Energy and Risk Management team, reporting to the Manager, Reporting and Compliance. You will provide high‑caliber administrative support for a team of approximately thirty people.
This temporary, full‑time role is expected to conclude in June 2027.
Responsibilities   Arrange and coordinate meetings and events, manage calendars and e‑mail, travel arrangements, office supplies and office mail/package handling.
Maintain filing systems and SharePoint sites, create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Ensure Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations compliance, including tracking the team’s safety program and monitoring training status.
Process invoices for payment, update payroll, and process expense reports.
Assist with reporting such as budget preparation, variance analysis, records of approvals, and Balanced Scorecard data.
Support storm restoration efforts if required.
Other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications   Minimum of grade XII education, a recognized Office Administration and/or Business Certificate (or equivalent), and at least three years of experience.
Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Oracle, and People Soft.
Detail‑oriented, high standard of work, good judgement, and ability to handle confidential information.
Team player with solid interpersonal skills, capable of working independently, and a self‑starter.
Excellent organizational, multi‑tasking, and communication skills.
