Location:Houston, Texas
Full/Part Time:Part Time (20–30 hours/week) with path to Full Time
Job Summary:The Field Capture Technician Assistant supports field operations by assisting with laser scanning, equipment setup, and data collection. This role also includes light administrative and business support tasks to assist in company growth and project execution.
This position is ideal for individuals seeking hands‑on experience with advanced technology and field operations.
Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with setup and operation of LiDAR scanners and field equipment
- Transport and organize equipment for project deployment
- Support field data capture activities following structured workflows
- Ensure completeness of scans and assist in quality checks
- Upload and organize project data in cloud systems
- Maintain file organization and assist with documentation
- Support lead generation efforts and CRM updates
- Assist with basic outreach and proposal preparation
- Perform general operational and administrative support tasks
- High School Diploma/GED
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Qualification:
- Interest in construction, engineering, or technology
- Experience with tools, equipment, or field work
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Google Sheets, email)
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with physical work and outdoor environments
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Positive attitude and team‑oriented
- Combination of field work and remote/office tasks
- Field work may require full‑day availability (6–10 hours)
