The owners of Melty in Virginia Beach are seeking a reliable and organized Part‑Time Assistant to support the administrative operations pertaining to our business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, personal assisting, enthusiastically communicating with teams, writing emails, making lists, using spreadsheets, and helping a business run smoothly behind the scenes.
We are seeking a reliable and organized Part‑Time Assistant To The Owners to support the day‑to‑day administrative operations of our restaurant.
The position focuses on clerical and coordination tasks that help management stay on track with reporting, inventory, and staff communication. The right candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, poised, competent, honest, patient, thoughtful, and comfortable handling multiple small tasks throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with inventory tracking and organization
- Help Prepare weekly email updates and follow‑ups for owners to send to corporate
- Support basic bookkeeping and administrative record keeping
- Conduct periodic staff check‑ins and help relay important information
- Coordinate and schedule employee training
- Run local errands as needed
- Maintain organized files, reports, and administrative documents
- Provide general administrative support to restaurant leadership
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Internet Connection at home
- Your own High Functioning Laptop with enough memory space on it
- Your own High Functioning Cellphone in Good Repair
- Comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and other basic office software
- Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks
- Prior administrative, office, or restaurant experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation for occasional errands
- Part‑time (approximately 10–14 hours per week
) - Flexible schedule with some on‑site work required
- $15.00/hr
