Position OverviewThe Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Division of Finance, Bureau of Collection Services is seeking to hire clerical support staff to perform a variety of specialized clerical duties pertaining to the Worker’s Compensation Program, Personal Injury Program, and Liens and Estates claims. This position will access and process Personal Injury, Worker’s Compensation, and Liens and Estates requests, and review medical and financial information to substantiate the Department’s Worker’s Compensation subrogation claim and Personal Injury lien notice.
The clerical support staff also processes all incoming mail, enters data, processes statistical reports, creates electronic and hard copy files, files documents, and responds to inquiries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills and display motivation and initiative. The preferred candidate will exhibit the ability to plan, prioritize, and follow up on tasks to ensure such are completed accurately and timely to achieve set goals.
