- 2 years experience in systems planning and implementation
- Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets), email, and Gemini in a professional office setting.
- 1 year experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- 2+ years in administration or operations
- 1 year experience with finance/budgeting
The Role
Provides professional support to the overall, state-wide administration of one or more Department programs, and in limited cases, interstate programs, involving the delivery of social services. Although the position may function with some independence, the incumbent is not responsible and accountable for the administration of Department programs. In the case of inter-state programs, their administration is governed by established policies and rules.
Typically an incumbent gathers, compiles, and interprets program related information, prepares and presents program related reports, interprets policies and procedures, provides technical assistance to Department staff and service providers, and trains others in program related topics. May also assist the Program Specialist responsible for the program(s) with his/her professional, program related duties.
