Receptionist – Boho Chic Beauty Boutique | Remote

About Us Boho Chic Beauty Boutique is a salon suite dedicated to creating a welcoming and stylish environment for our clients. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional beauty services while maintaining a professional and supportive atmosphere for our team. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and the voice of our brand.

Role Overview The Receptionist will manage front desk operations remotely, ensuring smooth daily communication and scheduling. This role requires excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with office management tools. You will be responsible for greeting clients over the phone, managing appointments, supporting administrative tasks, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the salon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and clients warmly over the phone, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly
  • Answer and direct incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy
  • Manage front desk activities including appointment scheduling, calendar management, and coordination of meetings remotely
  • Handle data entry and assist with marketing initiatives when needed
  • Provide administrative support to management, including calendar coordination and clerical duties
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Boulevard salon software for administrative functions
  • Support salon operations with document management, proofreading, and data entry
  • Offer room for growth, with the potential to become the salon owner’s assistant

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven office or receptionist experience with strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with phone systems and professional phone etiquette
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
  • Experience with clerical duties such as data entry and document management
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish/Portuguese) are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs
  • Prior salon receptionist experience is a plus but not required; personal assistant or administrative experience is valued
