The projected end date for this temporary assignment is December 31, 2026.Purpose The Program Coordinator supports the Department of Computer Sciences student affairs initiatives by providing administrative and operational support to both the student organizations program and the academic affairs team.

In collaboration with the Senior Student Program Coordinator, this role serves as a primary point of contact for student organization leaders, serving as a resource on policies, procedures, and administrative processes.

Responsibilities Program Support:
Work directly with student organization leaders to coordinate event logistics and operational planning, including vendor and procurement support and financial oversight by tracking expenditures. Scholarship Support:
Work directly with CS Academics Staff to help prepare general scholarship application materials and support stewardship efforts. Support academic programs, such as summer academies and academic advising in an administrative capacity, including logistical and communications support.

Administrative Support:
Assist with accounting operations by preparing and submitting invoices, reimbursement requests, and required administrative documentation (e.g., Official Occasion Expense Forms). Communicate with vendors to ensure timely processing and payment of invoices. Assist in undergraduate travel arrangements and coordination.

Required Qualifications Bachelors degree, three years of experience coordinating or administering a program. Solid Administrative support experience. Proficient in MS Word and Excel. Proficiency in examining, organizing, and reporting information in an accurate manner. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to understand and follow complex written and oral instructions. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and writing skills. Experience providing support in a customer service environment with excellent customer service skills.

High level of professionalism. Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple concurrent projects. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree and three years of experience coordinating or administering a program. Problem-solving skills. Demonstrated use of initiative and judgment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience working with the University of Texas at Austin policies and procedures. Knowledge of UT Mainframe, Adobe Acrobat, Docu Sign, Canvas, and UTBox.

Hourly Rate $25.00

Work Conditions Attire:
Business Casual Standard Office Environment Work Shift Hours per week - 19

Hours are flexible, as needed during work hours. Standard office environment with occasional remote work permitted upon approval from supervisor.
