Position: Support Spec II

Position Summary

Under general supervision, the primary job function of the Support Specialist II is to provide phone support and perform routine clerical and support duties according to standard procedures.

State specific pay scales for this role are as follows:

  • 30,390 to 48,544 (NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)
  • 27,627 to 44,131 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)
  • 24,864 to 39,718 (UT, , MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)
  • 35,520.30 to 43,413.70 (CA)

The expected base salary will vary depending on experience, skills and location.

Responsibilities
  • Transcribe assignments such as business correspondence, forms and reports.
  • Have direct contact with customers, compile information for reports, and process forms and documents.
  • Transfer and elevate potential calls to the appropriate department as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient typing skills and basic computer literacy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including proofreading and editing routine forms, reports, and business correspondence.
  • Knowledge of department procedures to prepare, process, and complete assignments and maintain records.
  • Ability to manage inbound calls promptly while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Active listening skills, confirming or clarifying information and addressing customer concerns.

Pay Range: USD $30,390.00 - $48,544.00 /Yr.
