THE POSITION

As a Management Technician, you will play a crucial role in helping to keep department projects on track by coordinating with staff, reviewing documents, and supporting program operations. DESCRIPTIONOF WORK
In this position you will provide key administrative support for the Bureau of Air Quality and keep daily operations organized and on track. Your work will manage grants, contracts, agreements, invoices, and other important program processes. As a Management Technician you will perform the following duties:
- Grant Support:
Review grant materials, track agreements, and ensure compliance with required procedures - Contract Coordination:
Prepare contract documents, monitor budgets, and work with staff and contractors to resolve issues - Invoice Review:
Examine invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure proper approvals before payment - Record Management:
Maintain accurate financial and administrative records for reporting and auditing needs - Program Assistance:
Support field operations, training activities, and administrative needs for bureau projects

Work Schedule and Additional Information- Full‑time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch
- Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home part‑time, up to 3 days per week. Telework requires a securely configured high‑speed internet connection and an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you may report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. - Salary:
Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin at the starting annual salary of $45,907.00 (before taxes). - You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.
- Three years of advanced clerical or para‑professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
- You must meet the PA residency requirement.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
